Commands on PostgreSQL DB do not commit

Hey Hey!

I've been using Mode to query a PostgreSQL DB and ran into trouble trying to do data altering commands (ALTER/DELETE).

The query was running fine, but after completion there was no change in the table. I ran the same query elsewhere and it did the job. I'm guessing that somewhere in the connection to the DB these commands where not committed.

Query for example:

ALTER TABLE <tablename> ALTER COLUMN <columnname> TYPE DATE
using to_date(<columnname>, 'YYYY-MM-DD');

Can DB connection settings be changed so that queries in Mode are auto-committed?

Thanks in advance!
